Downton Abbey

This past Sunday marked the end of Season 2 for “Downton Abbey”. “Downton Abbey” is a British drama about an upper class family and their servants. I began to watch this show because my friend recommended it to me, and I was able to watch all of Season 1 on Netflix. I continued to watch it because from the first episode I was hooked. I immediately fell in love with the character Matthew, hated Thomas the footman, loved Anna the housemaid, and felt so many more emotions. The plot is simple, but the characters are all very complex. Since “Downton Abbey” takes place in the early 1900s, the clothing styles are different and this makes the show even more entertaining.

This is my best picture of the 1000 I took over Winter Term. I used levels and the burn and dodge tools in Photoshop to enhance the image.

Photoshopped Animals

While googling photoshopped images, I came across several pictures of animals being blended together.  For example, there was a dog and squirrel mix.  It is amazing how the impossible can come alive because of the capabilities of Photoshop.

Wet Dreams & False Images

I just recently viewed a documentary on a group of young men who work in a barber shop and have a wall of magazine images of almost naked women.  These men believed these women were all natural and all women should look like this.  When experts on enhancing images were consulted, they said that almost all the pictures on their wall were airbrushed.  The young men could not believe they have had wet dreams to these false images.
